Hi Connie

First let me start by saying "thank you". I have felt strong and amazing since I started your boot camp. Your positive approach to not just training but believing in my abilities to get fit every Saturday morning has literally saved my life. I was crying about my weight at my last appt with my cardiologist. This week I went in the office strong with my head up and my hands not on my hip. Then to have lost 8 pounds since boot camp and clean eating I feel like a new woman. I feel strong and fit. Thank you so very much.

K. D. Moore Community Development Center, Inc. Program Director

4007 Church Street Clarkston, Georgia 30021On August 3rd, 2013 Clarkston First Baptist Church in partnership with the K. D. Moore Community Development Center, Inc. held a Family Fitness Olympics Day in Milam Park. This was a family orientated day dedicated to family fitness, sports, games, and activities. Highlights of the day included fitness demonstrations that focused on, Zumba, Aerobics, and Praise-er-Cise. Additional classes focused on the importance of Vitamin D, Maintaining Diabetes, and Dental Hygiene. One of the most popular highlights of the day was with Ms. Connie Power of Passion 4 Fitness. Ms. Power’s enthusiasm and upbeat spirit moved individuals to participating in her self-made obstacle course. This obstacle course definitely proved to be challenging and equipped for those fit and unfit. Ms. Power’s motivation to engage others in a team and display excellence via sportsmanship definitely helped in knowing the importance of maintaining a healthy lifestyle with help and support of others.

We here at the K. D. Moore Community Development Center, Inc. and Clarkston First Baptist Church are truly blessed and humbled from the experience that Ms. Power provided. Participant of the Family Fitness Olympics were truly thankful for all presenter’s skills, experience, and expertise in helping to reach the goals of positively impacting community change. We look forward to maintaining and sustaining positive relationship with all facilitators and instructors from this evening.Connie,

I thank God for bringing you into my life. You saved me,  you have helped me add at least 10 more years to my lifeJ.You have helped me reached goals that I didn’t even think were possible. You believed in me when I did not believe in myself. You would not allow me to give up. I remember I could not run once around the circle at Alexander Park and the first time I tried I was so tired and ready to give up and you pulled me to the side and told me to stop feeling sorry for myself and I got myself in this situation and only I can get myself out of it. Those words stuck with me and I was determine to continue on with my fitness Journey and knew I could not do it without your guidance. Since then under your guidance and with extensive training within the last year I have completed my first 5K, my first 10K and two Half marathons. You made a believer out of me. You taught me there is no such thing as “ I Can’t Do it”.

With the proper training, guidance, focus and dedication anything is possible. You are tough but you are very passionate about helping others achieve their goals. Your boot camp is an experience in itself. Every boot camp is different. I look forward to the different challenges on Saturday mornings. Passion4Fitness boot campers are like a family. Everyone is very encouraging and regardless of your fitness level no one is never left behind. Personal Training you not only helped me focus on losing weight but you helped me understand the importance of eating right and provided me with excellent meal plans. The way I look at Personal Training it is an investment in yourself. I think this is one of the best investments that I have ever made. You taught me fitness is a life style and a person can not expect to lose weight over night. It is a process and you must be willing to put in work to make it happen. I can go on and on about how you have helped me change my life. In closing, I just want to thank you for always keeping it real, always pushing me to my limits and always holding me accountable to my fitness goals. You are an excellent trainer and boot camp instructor and it has been a great pleasure working out with you.

I have had to battle my weight my entire life. And for the last twenty five years I have exercised on and off. But it wasn't until I joined Passion 4 Fitness can I honestly say I am winning the battle. My journey began three years ago. I was taking a Club Boxing class and Connie kept encouraging me. I was not very fit, despite my long years of working out, but her words inspired me. Later I joined P4F boot camp and I am never turning back. Connie and the P4F team have helped me see exercise In a different light! Not only do I feel athletic but mentally I am sharper and emotionally more content. Never did I think at 51 years I would have run two half marathons and set a goal of competing (well at least participating :0)) in a triathlon in April, 2012. Remember "Exercise is the gift you can ONLY give yourself!" Connie and the team have given me a passion for maintaining and even challenging my fitness level! All I can say is thank you!

I recently participated in a boot camp in another location and it gave me an even greater appreciation for your teaching style and genuine passion for fitness.  While the trainers were very professional, well trained, and used top of the line equipment; they lacked the attention to detail you possess.  This was my first time attending and instead of demonstrating each move first as you do, they simply called out a move without considering that there were new participants.

What makes a great group trainer is being able to customize the workout so that it can be executed at various fitness levels.  Visiting another trainer only further confirmed that there is only one CPOWER!!

Connie is a game changer on the playing field of fitness. Her skill, drive, passion and determination to take exercising to another level and it mean something, is truly a gift. She is a life changer. Connie first became my coworker, friend and then trainer, and we’ve danced between these roles quite nicely. It took me a year or so before I joined her boot camp. I knew if I went down that path that I better be serious. For many of us who keep up with the “The Biggest Loser,” she is our ‘Jillian’ – even though I must say, Connie is one of a kind. She’s tough, but only cause she lovingly sees how badly you want to reach your goals. Like Connie says, “You have to want it more than anyone else!” It has taken me almost two years to get to where I am today; and without her, arriving  at my present fitness level might not have been probable. I needed someone to keep me engaged and who would not allow me to settle for less than I was capable of...Lord knows, we never did the same routine twice, and heaven forbid if we ever thought about quitting. Every Saturday, I go to boot camp and it’s like being in a club, or more like Connie’s fitness family. While this client comment seems like a long one, there are not enough words to express my gratitude for how she has positively affected my life! It’s hard living  the “Fit and Fabulous lifestyle!” Isn’t that right, Connie?!!! LOL! Much love!

To Connie,
I am so glad you were placed in my life. I couldn't ask for a better trainer and someone who takes fitness to another level, always. It's because of your push, and no nonsense approach, that I was able to see what I needed to do for myself, and work harder. Thanks for sharing your passion. I'm in it for good. DC

I just wanted to thank you once again for allowing me to share in your "fitness" world. I felt very vulnerable at times, but  you made me feel comfortable in stepping outside of the box. As a cancer survivor, it is important that I continue to stay active and you have shown me how much fun it can be. Thank you for who you are and all that you do. You are truly a special person.

We have encountered each other for a reason. We might not know what that is yet, but it will be revealed. I can say that I envy your personal strength and committment as well as your "lashing with a wet noodle" technique. I mean, you have somewhat of a tough exterior and are very professional when working (training), but your heart is HUGE and your intentions are good. I love that about you. I want to be like you when I grow up :)

This boot camp has changed my attitude on my life, I have a better outlook and I am for once in my life taking care of me and not everyone else. When I feel I cannot go anymore you encourage me to do more. So I will be there Saturday ready to go. Thank you for all your hard work and encouragement you give out.

 Ms. Connie,

I just want to thank you for allowing me to get in shape and get ready for my audition. It means a lot to me that you took in a stranger with no problems. I want to say you’re tiring, challenging, hard, yet fun and motivating  workouts has helped out a lot. I use to not be able to run to the corner and I’m proud to say I can run to the corner and back with no problems.
