Connie Power - Passion 4 Fitness

Dear Connie,

On behalf of the Board and staff of Hosea Feed the Hungry & Homeless, we thank you for your generous

gift of received on and families in crisis in Atlanta and throughout Georgia. Hosea Feed the Hungry has a reputation and a track record as one of the southeast’s most respected and trusted community service organizations. Here are some of our accomplishments and ongoing programs:

·      Our quarterly medical clinic provides screenings, disease prevention, flu shots and wound care and other vital services to those who have no health insurance and would go without.

·      We provide emergency rent and utility assistance to prevent families from losing their homes during times of financial crisis. Unanticipated health care needs and job layoffs are the typical events that push families over the edge.

·      We give emergency food to over 4,000 children and adults each year.

·      We feed 20,000 poor and homeless children and adults at each of our four holiday dinner events where we also provide free dental and medical check-ups, clothing, barber and beautician services, and school supplies for children.

·      Our annual Back-to-School Jamboree provides free backpacks filled with school supplies to approximately 3,000 at-risk and homeless children.

·     Our Children’s Christmas Party provides 1,500 children with new toys, clothes and shoes.

·      Our year-round outreach program delivers 22,000 hot meals to homebound seniors and 600 meals monthly to homeless people who live in camps and under bridges.

The sustainability of these and other vital programs is directly dependent on support from donors like you. Because you care, we thank you and God will bless you!

“No goods or services were provided by Hosea Feed the Hungry to the donor in exchange for the donation.”

Sincerely,

Elisabeth Omilami

Executive Director
